Fire Safety Training Programme at the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station Alor Setar

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) of Putra Medical Centre (PMC) recently participated in a Fire Safety Training Programme held at the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station, Alor Setar, as part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and workplace safety.

The programme comprised both theoretical and practical sessions, providing participants with comprehensive exposure to fundamental fire safety principles, emergency response procedures, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and realistic fire emergency simulations conducted by personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department. The hands-on training equipped participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively and safely during fire-related emergencies.

Through this programme, participants enhanced their knowledge, confidence and preparedness in managing emergency situations with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
