International Patients
Welcome to our medical laboratory. We are privileged to provide accurate and reliable diagnostic services. To keep your testing smooth, safe and efficient, please take note of the following.
What to know before you come
-
Bring Your Identification
Please bring your valid passport for registration at our laboratory counter. We use this to verify your identity and protect your medical records. We will need the following to set up your Laboratory Information System (LIS) profile:
- Full name as shown on your passport
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Contact number
- Address in Malaysia, if applicable
-
Prepare For Your Tests
To guarantee the accuracy of your laboratory results, proper preparation is essential.
- Fasting: some tests, such as fasting blood glucose or a lipid profile, need 8 to 12 hours with no food or drink except plain water. Please check your test requirements beforehand.
- Medications: tell our phlebotomist about any routine medication or supplements you take, as some can interfere with your results.
- Doctor’s referral: if you have a request form from a doctor at home or a local clinic, please present it at registration so we can match the exact test codes.
-
Consent
Certain specialised, genetic or invasive tests require explicit consent.
Our team will explain the procedure, and your consent will be obtained before any sample collection begins.
-
Fees & Payment
Depending on the tests you request, charges may include:
- Laboratory test profiles or packages
- Individual specialised tests
Payment is required at the counter according to our laboratory’s payment policy.
-
After Your Visit
We understand that timely access to your medical data matters.
- Turnaround: we prioritise processing for international patients so you receive your reports before you travel or before a follow-up consultation.
- Your reports: final official laboratory reports are given as hard copy and soft copy, as requested.
- Data privacy: we never release your results to a third party without your written informed consent. Your details and results are kept strictly confidential under applicable data protection regulations.
- Critical alerts: if any result is abnormal or critical, you will be informed immediately so you can seek medical help if needed.
