On 28th August 2025, Putra Medical Centre (PMC) successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training session, attended by 24 staff members. The half-day programme, held from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., was designed to equip staff with essential life-saving skills and the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.
For optimal learning, participants were divided into smaller groups and rotated through three key modules: Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Airway Management. Each module combined practical demonstrations with hands-on practice, facilitated by experienced instructors to ensure that staff gained both knowledge and real-world application.
At the conclusion of the session, participants underwent an assessment to evaluate their proficiency and confidence in performing these critical techniques.
