ACS Stop the Bleeding Programme
Putra Medical Centre (PMC) successfully conducted the ACS Stop the Bleeding Programme Train-the-Trainer session as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and lifesaving capabilities among healthcare professionals. The programme was attended by Dato’ Lee Gaik Cheng, who emphasised PMC’s dedication to enhancing clinical competency, patient safety, and continuous knowledge sharing, as well as its aspiration to become an official training centre for the programme. Appreciation is extended to Dr Tan Boon Lee and all staff involved for their valuable contributions.

Parents’ Day 2026
On 10 May 2026, Putra Medical Centre (PMC) was honoured to celebrate Parents’ Day 2026 with patients, family members, staff, and invited guests in an atmosphere filled with warmth, joy, and appreciation. The programme began with a special breakfast session for patients under the Nursing Care Services, followed by group exercise activities, musical performances in conjunction with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and a cake-cutting ceremony that further enlivened the celebration. More than just a celebration, the programme served as a sincere tribute to the most important individuals in our lives, our mothers and fathers.

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) was honoured to host the Kedah State-Level World OSH Day 2026 Programme organised by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Kedah. The programme reflected PMC’s ongoing commitment towards strengthening workplace safety and health culture. The event was officiated by Ir. Hj. Abdul Aziz bin Salim and attended by PMC’s top management, including Dato’ Dr. Lim Kim Huat and Dato’ Dr. Lee Gaik Cheng.

World OSH Day Celebration Programme
The World OSH Day 2026 Celebration Programme was successfully held with strong support and commitment from the staff of PMC. Staff from various departments contributed actively through knowledge-sharing sessions and interactive exhibition booths to promote a safe and healthy workplace culture. The award ceremony was officiated by Ir. Ts. Mohd Safarin Bin Sabli and Dr. Lee Ling Hui. The programme also featured an interactive Wayground quiz session and concluded with appreciation to all committee members and staff for their dedication.
