Putra Medical Centre (PMC) successfully conducted its Code Red Alert, Code Red Action, and Mass Casualty Training in collaboration with the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station, Alor Setar. The comprehensive simulation brought together multidisciplinary teams to evaluate emergency response procedures, enhance interdepartmental coordination, and strengthen communication during fire and mass casualty incidents, through realistic emergency scenarios and close collaboration with emergency responders.

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) continues to strengthen its commitment towards workplace safety and emergency preparedness through a Fire Safety Training Programme at the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station, Alor Setar. The programme provided participants with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in fire prevention, emergency response procedures, fire extinguisher handling, and realistic emergency simulations and enhanced PMC’s confidence, teamwork, and readiness in managing fire-related incidents effectively.

PMC was honoured to welcome a delegation from Universiti Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah (UNISHAM) for a strategic discussion on the proposed Nursing Scholarship Programme. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration in nursing education through educational sponsorship, clinical training placements, and the development of future-ready healthcare professionals. This initiative reflects PMC’s ongoing commitment to investing in human capital and supporting the growth of a skilled and compassionate nursing workforce.
