The programme featured a health talk entitled “Early Prevention of Heart Attack”, delivered by Dr. Mohamad Anuar, Consultant Physician and Interventional Cardiologist at Putra Medical Centre. The session highlighted the importance of early identification and effective management of key cardiovascular risk factors, including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, obesity, smoking and sedentary lifestyles. The significance of regular health screening and timely medical intervention was also emphasised as essential measures in reducing the risk of serious cardiovascular complications.
In conjunction with the programme, participants were provided with complimentary basic health screenings as part of early health monitoring and preventive care efforts. The programme was supported by PMC staff members including Mr. Henry Low, Ms. Asikin and Ms. Maziah, whose contributions were instrumental to the successful implementation of the initiative.
