Protocol and Social Etiquette Course

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) has organised a Protocol and Social Etiquette course as a strategic initiative to enhance the professional skills of its staff. This session aims to provide guidance on interacting with royalty and VVIPs at official functions in a consistent and courteous manner.

We were greatly honoured to receive an insightful presentation from Tuan Sophian bin Ab Rahman, Assistant Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela from Istana Negara. Drawing on his extensive experience managing royal ceremonies under the auspices of several His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agongs, his expertise provided an exclusive perspective on the intricacies of authentic royal protocol.

The primary focus of this training was the Etiquette of Interacting with Royal Family Members and Sultans. Participants received in-depth exposure to the use of courtly language, respectful titles, the protocol for audience, and the Etiquette of Royal Dining. This content is crucial for ensuring that every interaction at PMC is always in keeping with the proper respect due to the royal household.
