Local / International Interns
At PMC we also encourage local and international internship, because interning for a medical centre can immensely boost experiential learning, as you’ll be actively engaged with a healthcare system and work directly with experts. Being a medical intern abroad also enhance your potential and give you an advantage ahead of your peers. As a medical, pre-med or nursing student, you can learn a lot at a hospital or healthcare centre, where they have to deal with hundreds of patients on a daily basis. Other than the work, interning abroad also gives you the opportunity to explore and understand another country, since you will be in constant touch with the locals. You’ll also get to visit the local attractions, learn about their culture and way of life. Particularly for medical students, experiential learning is very important because an international internship experience with a reputed hospital will certainly boost your career in future.
