On 29 August 2025, Poliklinik UNIK Kulim organized a community program in the form of a Health Campaign in conjunction with the National Day celebrations. The program, held from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., received an encouraging response from the local community, reflecting the growing public awareness of the importance of healthcare.
This campaign was carried out as part of Poliklinik UNIK Kulim’s commitment to supporting the nation’s aspiration to build a healthy, productive, and prosperous society. Good health not only contributes to improving individual quality of life but also serves as the foundation for family harmony and national development.
In line with this, a variety of health screening services were provided throughout the program as a proactive effort to bring healthcare closer to the community. Services offered included blood pressure (BP) and Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, dental and eye examinations, Everlife pharmacy services, as well as microcirculation tests. In addition, visitors were also given the opportunity to undergo comprehensive blood tests covering 25 essential parameters, including full blood count, kidney function, cholesterol levels, and diabetes screening. This initiative enabled individuals to gain a more accurate understanding of their health status and to take early preventive measures against disease.
Beyond physical health screenings, the campaign also served as a platform to deliver health education and promote healthy lifestyles to the public. Healthcare personnel took the opportunity to provide direct and interactive advice, making the program not only beneficial in terms of screenings but also effective in fostering deeper awareness of self-care.
