On 28th April 2025, Putra Medical Centre (PMC) was honoured to participate in the Alor Setar City Hari Raya Aidilfitri Feast held at Dataran Starwalk, Jalan Tunku Ibrahim, Alor Setar.
The event, themed “Bandaraya Aloq Setaq Beraya Sakan” (“Alor Setar City Celebrates in Full Festivity”), was filled with joyous celebration, featuring a variety of traditional delicacies, cultural performances, and engaging activities for the whole family.
PMC took part by setting up five food booths offering an array of dishes such as desserts, sweet steamed corn, hot coffee, boiled cassava, and more. These delights were prepared in collaboration with experienced local vendors, ensuring every dish delighted the palates of attendees.
PMC extends its heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Haji Abdul Gafar Bin Yahya, Mayor of Alor Setar, and the Alor Setar City Council for the invitation and trust to be involved in the planning and execution of this meaningful event.
Dato’ Lee Gaik Cheng, Managing Director, was also honoured to attend the Alor Setar City Council (MBAS) event and fully supports the efforts to strengthen bonds of unity and foster goodwill within the community.
As a token of appreciation, PMC also distributed special goodie bags to guests throughout the event. The presence of people from all walks of life in Alor Setar demonstrated that the spirit of unity, love, and harmony remains strong in this “Land of Kenari” (Kedah).
PMC remains committed to actively participating in community programmes and supporting initiatives that build communal strength and well-being.
